Legendary mare Ms Flashy Goodbar passed away January 24, 2021 at Voge Quarter Horses in Whitesboro, Texas. The 2002 mare by Zippos Mr Good Bar and out of Ms Flashy Hotrodder first loped into the spotlight when she was named the Reserve Champion in the Reichert 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure Challenge with Randy Wilson. She went on to be named the AQHA Reserve World Champion in 2-Year-Old Western Pleasure later that year. Mark and Rebecca Pine purchased “Rosie” from The Billings Family and under the guidance of David Dellin, Rebecca and Rosie would be crowned AQHA and NSBA World Champions in Amateur Select Western Pleasure. In total Ms Flashy Goodbar amassed 368 points and over $52,000 in earnings. However, she proved to be an even more impressive broodmare. Of her 13 foals, 10 are performers including AQHA and NSBA World Champion Flashy Invite; NSBA World Show Top 5, A Moonlit Goodbar; NSBA World Show Top 10, Ms Flashy Chip; NSBA World Show Top 10, Ms RL Flashy Goodbar; and NSBA Reserve World Champion, Son Of A Sudden.

In 2018 Justin and Julie Voge purchased the mare and continued her breeding legacy.

“We are extremely grateful to Mark and Rebecca Pine for selling us Rosie several years ago. We have cherished having her live with us and watching her babies grow up and excel. She will be sadly missed,” said Julie Voge.
