An Absolute Martini to stand 2019 Breeding Season at Pilot Knob

Breezee Hill Farm, home of An Absolute Martini, is thrilled to announce that the 2015 chestnut stallion by The Best Martini and out of Radical Rose Red will stand the 2019 breeding season at Pilot Knob Quarter Horses in Pinnacle, North Carolina.

“Due to overwhelming demand, we have decided to stand ‘Hollywood’ under the guidance of Mike Hay at Pilot Knob,” said owner John McNichol. “Originally we planned to stand him here at Breezee Hill, but after so many people reached out about breeding to him, we knew he needed a much bigger operation. We know he will be in the best of care while in North Carolina.”

In 2018 Theresa Wills rode An Absolute Martini to a win in the Limited Division of the 3-Year-Old & Over Maiden Western Pleasure class at the Madness, then went on to win the Green Western Pleasure Stakes at the Connecticut Classic and a Reserve Championship in the Limited Division of the 3-Year-Old Western Pleasure at the Tom Powers Futurity. Then in August at the NSBA World Championship Show the pair were named Champions in the Breeder’s Championship Futurity 3-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure. An Absolute Martini also tallied top 10 placings in Level 1 Western Pleasure at the All American Quarter Horse Congress and AQHA World Show with Jeff Cochran.

“I think his greatest asset is that he has that ‘look’ to him that stands out from any other stud,” Wills said. “He makes you want to watch him. As a stallion, I think it’s important that he’s made to last and made to produce strong babies.”

An Absolute Martini’s 2019 stud fee is $1,250 plus $275 for shipping costs with special consideration given to multiple and proven mares. He is Five Panel N/N and enrolled in the Premier Quarter Sires, Super Sires, NSBA BCF and SIF Programs, Southern Belle Breeder’s Futurity and Iowa Quarter Horse SSA.
