Election time is fast approaching, and the two candidates for APHA’s Sixth Committee Member position recently sat down to introduce themselves to APHA members and explain why they want to serve on the APHA Executive Committee.
Karen Thomas of Morganton, North Carolina, and Alison Umberger of Broad Run, Virginia, are both lifetime APHA members who have committed themselves to promoting and improving the Paint Horse breed.
The APHA Board of Directors will vote for the 2016 Executive Committee members at the 2016 APHA Convention February 26–29 in Richmond, Virginia. APHA members are encouraged to speak to their elected national directors before Convention about who they would like have elected as the Executive Committee’s sixth committee member.
