In order to ensure the health of all horses attending the 2019 APHA World Championship Show Sept. 16-29 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, the following horse health requirements and arrival instructions will be in effect.
- Health certificates within 30 days are required for all horses.
- A negative EIA (Coggins) test is required for all horses, dated within the previous 12 months.
- NEW: Health certificates dated within 14 days of arrival are required for any horse coming from a state with current Vesicular Stomatitis cases. As of publication, affected states include, but are not limited to, Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and Oklahoma. Stay up-to-date on these requirements and possible changes that might occur.
- Health papers will be checked by event staff, with a visual inspection of all horses. This will take place before you can unload animals at the facility.
Upon arrival at the Will Rogers Memorial Center, trailers will be directed to the equestrian inspection station, located in Yellow Lot A (Gate 43).
