The American Quarter Horse Association has named the Virginia Horse Center as the new location of the 2015 Nutrena AQHA East Level 1 Championships. AQHA and the Virginia Horse Center have agreed to a one-year contract with a two-year option to return.
Due to the increasingly popularity of this event, the show will move from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, to Lexington, Virginia, this year. The Nutrena East Level 1 Championships is tentatively slated for September 30 – October 4.
“AQHA is very grateful to Murfreesboro, Middle Tennessee State University and the hospitality and effort the college has shown during the first three Nutrena East Level 1 Championships,” said Pete Kyle, AQHA director of shows and judges. “Without the hard work of the school’s representatives and the facilities, this show would not have grown to the size it is today.”
The SmartPak AQHA West AQHA Level 1 Championships will return to Las Vegas. AQHA is proud to continue working with the South Point Hotel and Equestrian Center, which allows room for this show to continue to grow. The SmartPak West Level 1 Championships is tentatively scheduled for September 30 – October 4.
