We are deeply saddened to inform our friends and clients that Iron Age was euthanized on January 14, 2016 following complications from colic surgery. “Clark” showed signs of colic last Friday and underwent surgery at The Ohio State Veterinary Medical Center that morning. Unfortunately he showed no signs of improvement in the days following surgery and the difficult decision was made to euthanize him. He will be missed by the students, faculty and staff that had the opportunity to work with and learn from him. A limited amount of frozen semen will be made available to outside mares in 2016 and 2017.
