Breeders Trust Select Sale

_phj4781-webDo you have a top-quality horse that’s nominated or subscribed to the APHA Breeders’ Trust or in-foal to a Breeders’ Trust-subscribed stallion? If you’re looking to sell, consider consigning your horse to the 2014 Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Sale—the early consignment deadline is August 15.

The 2014 Farnam Breeders’ Trust Select Sale takes place November 9 in conjunction with the APHA World Championship Show at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The sale features about 50 horses, consisting of show prospects, finished show horses, broodmares and breeding stallions. It’s also the only place to make your yearling Western pleasure or hunter under saddle prospect eligible for the $50,000+ Farnam Pleasure Stakes program—to become eligible, those horses must be in the Regular Registry and consigned to the Farnam Yearling Pleasure Stakes Session.

The early consignment deadline is August 15, with a withdrawal deadline of August 31—the consignment fee of $500 (which includes a complimentary stall and shavings) will be deducted from the sale proceeds, and an 8 percent commission of the sale price will be due at the sale for both purchases and no sales; an $800 stakes fee for yearlings in the Farnam Yearling Pleasure Stakes Session is also required, and this money goes directly into the 2-year-old pleasure stakes purses in 2015.
