Farnam Central AQHA Level 1 Championships Kicks Off

level1_central_logoExhibitors at the Farnam Central AQHA Level 1 Championships saddled up their American Quarter Horses for the opening day of competition at State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. The show kicked off at 8 a.m. with Level 1 youth ranch riding in the Jim Norick Arena and Level 1 youth working hunter in the Performance Arena.

The Farnam Central Level 1, running April 13-17, offers a variety of events and activities for competitors, friends, family and spectators to take part in throughout the show, including free Ride the Pattern clinics taught by AQHA Professional Horsemen. This year’s show will also feature added Rookie classes, sponsored by B&W Trailer Hitches, and more age divisions for Level 1 competitors.

The Nutrena East, Farnam Central and AQHA West Level 1 Championships are the pinnacle events for Level 1  and Rookie competitors around the world. This year, due to a change in show dates, all eligible exhibitors were able to enter. For 2017, exhibitors must qualify for the events either nationally or through their state or provincial AQHA affiliate to compete in English, western and halter classes.
