Slider BarThe 68th National Appaloosa Show is up and running at the Will Rogers Equestrian Center in Fort Worth, Texas. The show will run June 22 to July 4. The next 12 days are jam-packed with classes from Halter, Hunter In Hand, Western Pleasure, Hunter Under Saddle, Saddle Seat, Horsemanship, Jumping, Heritage and Trail showing how versatile the Appaloosa horse truly is. Entries and stall numbers are definitely up from 2014 the Appaloosa Horse committee has announced. The Appaloosa Horse Club committee members are out and about around the show grounds answering any questions exhibitors might have and are always willing to lend a helping hand.

First up are the Non-Pro and Open classes followed by the Youth competition. The Senior Trail with 54 entries is the biggest class of the show. Robert Dehn the trail course designer set the courses with a lot of upward and downward transitions to keep exhibitors on their toes. Winning the Senior Trail unanimously was Taeya Harle of Issaquah, Washington riding Just Like Zip.

Stay tuned as the week goes on for updates and pictures from the 68th National Appaloosa Show.
