The GameTime Sports Medicine team from Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic (SVEC) has been announced as the Official Veterinarian providing 24 Hour emergency care for the 2014 All American Quarter Horse Congress (AAQHC). Unofficially known as the Super Bowl of horse shows, the Congress is the world’s largest single-breed show with over 20,000 entries in 2013. It is held annually in Columbus, Ohio and runs from October 2nd to 26th.

SVEC’s GameTime Sports Medicine team provides mobile equine sports medicine support during competitions. On-site performance horse medicine treatments include joint pain relief, chiropractic, acupuncture, PRP, IRAP, TheraPlate, focused shockwave, pulsed magnetic wave therapy and the most up to date diagnostic equipment available.

“I was honored and humbled that Dr. Myers would ask us to support the Congress in an official capacity,” said Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic’s founding partner Brad Cumper, DVM. “We pride ourselves in delivering great care and customer experience and plan to do so at the greatest horse shows in the world.”

“Having the GameTime team handling 24 hour emergency care will make it a better experience for all our world class athletes,” said Scott Myers, Executive Director of the Ohio Quarter Horse Association. “The crew from Saginaw Valley Equine are top notch, straight forward and willing to go the extra mile.”

GameTime and SVEC has provided equine sports medicine support at the American Quarter Horse World Show, the American Quarter Horse Congress, National Snaffle Bit Association World Show and other sanctioned competitions for the National Reining Horse Association, the Mid-States Rodeo Association, the Super Kicker Rodeo Association and the National Barrel Horse Association.

Saginaw Valley Equine Clinic, on Tittabawassee Road in Saginaw Township, is a 20 acre state-of-the-art facility offering the latest technology and techniques to care for horses. SVEC is recognized as a leader in the Midwest for equine sports medicine, surgical, foaling and reproductive services.
