May internet horse auctions close strong

Professional Horse Services, LLC reports that its May Internet Auctions posted strong results.

Streakin Fame Boy, the high Seller in the spring Barrel Horse Auction at $27,800

The first auction, the 18th Annual Penn State Quarter Horse Auction, which closed on May 2, set a record for the highest average price per horse at $7,891,” according to Mike Jennings of Professional Horse Services, LLC.   In the Spring Barrel Horse Internet Auction, the High Seller brought $27,800.  The May Internet Auction was very active with 233 bidders registered and over 106,000 page views, with a High Seller at $10,800.  In the last of the three auctions, horses went to buyers in 20 States, including Hawaii, Canada and Mexico.

“It is exciting to see this level of activity in the horse market given the current situation due to the pandemic,” Jennings said.   “The Internet auctions allow sellers to market their horses from home.  Buyers can shop from home, too.  Since horse haulers can move freely around the country as an essential business, horses can get to their new owners easily.”

Sellers who have horses to market now can take advantage of the two June Internet auctions produced by Professional Horse Services, LLC.  Enter horses by May 25 for more exposure, including National digital magazines, as well as, extensive email and Facebook promotion.

The Halter Horse Internet Auction is an annual event dedicated to Halter broodmares, prospects and show horses.  Bidding will open on June 13 and close on June 16.
