“I am ecstatic about joining the team at Navy. I’m just anxious to get up there and see what the day to day schedule is like,” Chase said. “I think it will be a great fit for me and I am excited to be part of the ‘brotherhood’ there, the bond the team has is something you just have to experience.”

Back in December Parrish  ended his high school career  with an unbelievable 30-0 record and claiming his second Georgia High School Association AAAAAA football title. What’s even more impressive is he did it after spending a few days in the hospital with an infection.

“Going into the game I felt very weak, a little sick and I was already very fatigued; but as the game got going my adrenaline kicked in and I started feeling better,” Chase said.

During the game he completed 28-of-39 passes for 306 yards and his 40th touchdown of the season and 70th of his career in the team’s 30-13 victory over Roswell. In addition Chase set several school records including most passing yards (3,501) and most passing touchdowns (40).

Always a quarterback, Chase first started playing football for the local YMCA at the age of 5.

“I spent a lot of time watching football with my dad and brother growing up,” Chase says. “We all really loved it and when I started playing, I really got into it. My dad really sparked a fire in me to go for it.”
