PHBA moves forward with World Show plans

The Palomino Horse Breeders of America (PHBA) leadership along with the officials at the Illinois State Fairgrounds are moving forward with the planning of the 2020 PHBA World Championship Show. The facility is expecting to be up and running with everything again as early as mid-May.

Reduced Entry Fees

Due to the economic shortfalls the PHBA Executive Board has reduced the advertised entry fees for the 1st and 2nd deadlines.

Open and Amateur entry fees (per class)

  • Postmarked by June 1 = $150 to $125
  • Postmarked by June 2nd – June 15th = $250 to $225
  • Entries postmarked or entered June 16, until 5 pm the day before the class will remain at the advertised $350 per class.

Youth entry fees (per class)

  • Postmarked by June 1st = $85 to $75
  • Postmarked June 2nd – June 15th = $100 to $90
  • Entries postmarked or entered June 16th until 5 pm the day before the class will remain at the advertised $135 per class.

All other fees will remain as advertised and APA credit certificates will be honored in addition to the new fees, so long as they follow the original guidelines.

Refunds

Should the PHBA World Championship show be canceled due to COVID-19; any world show related fees received will be refunded.
