Premier Paint Sires, presented by InStride Edition, is proud to announce their new Stallion Incentive program, which will put added money into the all around events.
“Over the past several months we have been hard at work brainstorming and implementing several new concepts that we believe will allow the PPS to better meet the needs of our stallion owners, as well as mare owners, trainers and exhibitors,” says Claire Binkowski who along with Mike Hachtel founded Premier Paint Sires. “By now many people have heard about our new Breeders Futurity and the expansion of our Limited Series to include an All Age Limited Horse, Open Rider Hunter Under Saddle class. The third new addition to the PPS beginning this year is our Stallion Incentive program.”
Premier Paint Sires will be selling a 2015 breeding to each of the 26 stallions enrolled in the program for 3/4 of the stallion’s normal fee. The money collected from the sale of these breedings will be used to pay the highest placing horse sired by a PPS stallion in many of the all around or “non-rail” classes at each of three 2015 PPS events: UPHC Paint-O-Rama in South Jordan, Utah, Color On The Coast in Williamston, North Carolina and the WPHC Breeders Futurity in Madison, Wisconsin.
“We believe the addition of the Stallion Incentive will solidify Premier Paint Sires as the elite futurity program for APHA stallions and their offspring and more importantly give horses sired by these 26 stallions a huge added incentive throughout their entire career, not just during their futurity years.” says Binkowski.
Binkowski and Hachtel are both quick to credit the success of the Premier Paint Sires to the stallion owners who participate in the program. “These 26 stallion owners have really pulled together and done a lot not only promote their stallions but more importantly to bring some excitement back to the industry and help revitalize what was a dwindling breeding market. These stallion owners need to be commended for taking the risk on a new program and in just one year gaining the support and stature to grow and expand the program to where it is now.”
