The lights of the Vegas Strip were the perfect backdrop for this year’s 40th annual Silver Dollar Circuit held each year at the Southpoint Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show features a full slate of AQHA classes from March 15-20, 2016. According to show manager, Jan Bruner, both stalls and entries are up over previous years.
“This show has turned out to be great this year. We have sold almost 700 stalls and have had five point pleasure classes and 134 entries in Senior Trail,” Bruner said. “The show has turned into a destination show to bring the whole family to. The facility is fabulous and the staff goes above and beyond to help out. The Silver Dollar Circuit is now AQHA’s fourth largest show. We are looking forward to the exhibitor “happy hour” party with a drinks, food, and give aways from our vendors.”
For the first time The Silver Dollar Circuit has added NSBA Futurity classes to its schedule. Both 3-Year-Old Open and Non-Pro Western Pleasure classes are offered and taking home the NSBA Bronze in the 3-Year-Old Open Western Pleasure was Dave Archer of Pilot Point, Texas aboard UF Rockin The House for owner Kirsten Thomsen of Rocklin, California. Kirsten purchased “Sven” earlier this year and plans to show him in the 3-Year-Old Non-Pro Western Pleasure held Saturday.
