The 3-Year-Old Breeders Futurity classes will begin in 2016. In order to compete, a mare must be nominated by Dec. 1 of the year she is bred to a participating stallion in order for the resulting foal to be eligible. Once a mare is nominated, the foal is eligible to show in the Breeders Futurity classes regardless of a stallion’s continuing enrollment in the program. For this year only, 2014 foals were able to be nominated to the Breeders Futurity by June 1 and 2015 foals can be nominated by Sept. 1.
The third and final leg of the Premier Paint Sires 3-Year-Old Limited Horse Limited Rider Western Pleasure will be held this evening. A total of 18 horses are expected to compete for a purse of over $25,000.
JT Thomas and Sheza Dancin Machine won the second leg of the event in Williamston, North Carolina and Dustin Eickenhorst won the first leg in Salt lake City, Utah aboard Only After Midnight.
