World Equestrian Center

The World Equestrian Center and Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club has been approved for Phase One construction of the planned World Equestrian Center in Ocala. Construction has begun. Slated to host events in 2018, the new venue will be a world-class equestrian sports venue adjacent to the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club property. With an outstanding equestrian facility already operating in Wilmington, Ohio, the two entities have combined forces in Ocala to create a unique destination featuring a winning combination of top equestrian sport and country club living.

The World Equestrian Center Ocala facility will feature four 262 x 550 climate-controlled indoor arenas surrounding an open-air stadium and amenities including retail space and a restaurant. There are plans to build additional outdoor rings and amenities as well as permanent stabling for 800 horses. The facility plans to host events beginning in 2018.
