Sixteen teams will complete in the 2014 American Quarter Horse Youth World Cup July 3-13 in Bryan-College Station Texas.
The 2014 American Quarter Horse Association Youth World Cup is slated for July 3-13 in Bryan-College Station, Texas, and 16 teams from across the globe will be competing for the gold.
The Youth World Cup is an educational-, leadership- and competition-based event for American Quarter Horse Youth Association members from around the world. Youth will compete for medals in different English and western disciplines, including showmanship, horsemanship, western pleasure, western riding, trail, reining, cutting, hunter under saddle and hunt seat equitation. There will also be opportunities for team members to learn from some of the industry’s leading riders and trainers.
The following 16 teams will be representing their countries at this year’s Youth World Cup: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, United Kingdom and United States.
This year’s Youth World Cup will be held in conjunction with the 2014 Bank of America Youth Excellence Seminar, which is July 7-9 in Bryan-College Station. YES is a three-day, fun-packed event that offers valuable leadership skills, inspiring speakers and heaps of fun for participants ages 10-18.
