With fewer AQHA Regional Championships scheduled in 2014, the Region Six event was the only of its kind in the Northeast. The next closest Regional Championships were held in Mississippi, Kansas and South Dakota. Exhibitors outside the region hauled in from Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York and Ontario, Canada for a chance to compete for six sets of points. A total of 6,500 entries are expected and 400 stall rentals once the show officially wraps up July 20. Judges for this year’s event include Mike & Charlene Carter, Suzy Jeane, Michelle Tidwell, Nancy Renfro and Lori Gordon.
