The Ohio Quarter Horse Association has released the schedule for the 53^rdannual All-American Quarter Horse Congress. The show spans from Oct. 1 to 27 at the Ohio State Fairgrounds in Columbus, Ohio.

There are several new features this year including:

• Congress Super Sale 2-Year-Old Hunter Under Saddle Stakes

• Congress Cutting Champions Challenge

• 4 & 5-Year-Old Open Ranch Riding Stakes

• Super Sires Classes – 2-Year-Old Maiden Open Western Pleasure Futurity, 4 & 5-Year-Old Non-Pro Trail Stakes and Non-Pro Hunter Yearling Longe Line Stakes.

Some dates to remember for this year’s Congress include:

• Friday, Oct. 3 – Trade Show Opens

• Saturday, Oct. 5 – NRHA Open Reining Futurity Finals

• Sunday, Oct. 6 – Congress Cutting Champions Challenge

• Friday, Oct. 11 – PBR and Heroes On Horses

• Saturday, Oct. 12 – Freestyle Reining and Congress Queen Crowning (during intermission)

• Wednesday, Oct. 16 – Intercollegiate Judging Tournament

• Saturday, Oct. 19 – Congress Super Sale

• Sunday, Oct. 20 – NYATT

• Saturday, Oct. 26 – Congress Masters Hunter Under Saddle and Western Pleasure 

• Sunday, Oct. 27 – Cowboy Mounted Shooting
