Results in from Keystone Appaloosa show

20140524-122731-44851942.jpgResults are in for the first day of competition of the Keystone Classic Appaloosa Horse Show being featured this Memorial Day weekend at the Dream Park in South Logan Township, New Jersey.

Trail classes opened this year’s show with action in Youth, Open and Non-Pro divisions. The Senior Trail drew a total of 28 entries while 18 Non-pro exhibitors negotiated the course.

Over 300 stalls have been rented for the weekend with exhibitors traveling from as far away as North Carolina, Florida, Texas and Canada to show in what has been the largest regional Appaloosa Show in the country for the past seven years.

Hunter In Hand classes followed Trail competition with Longe Line, Prairie Stumps and Rope Race wrapping up the day’s activities.

20140524-122900-44940605.jpgHalter classes got things started bright and early on Saturday with Keyhole, Stake Race, Saddleseat Pleasure and Equitation being featured in the afternoon. Judging will be completed in Pleasure Driving, English Showmanship, Hunter Under Saddle and Equitation before the show is over today.

Nez Perce Stake Races will get things started at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday with Western Showmanship, Western Pleasure and Horsemanship to follow.


Judges for this year’s Keystone Classic are: Terry Sartain, Karen Sartain, Daniel Whitehouse and Joan Santos Whitehouse.
