A little rain wouldn’t damper the beautiful wedding that took place last weekend in Ohio when Marissa Dalton wed Lee Ledford in front of friends and family. The couple met while attending Oklahoma State University where the bride competed on the school’s equestrian team.

Dalton says one of her favorite parts of the day was standing with her dad right before heading down the isle in her stunning Alfred Angleo gown rehearsing what he was supposed to say and how to hand her off.

“For those who know my dad he’s very calm and easy going,” Marissa recalls. “But at that point he looked a little nervous and we were both trying to hold back tears.”

The couple’s favorite part of the day was when both of their families met for the first time, and the dance the bridal party learned just the night before after the rehearsal dinner.

“None of us really new how it would go the day of. But it turned out great and we all had a blast,” Marissa explains.

The couple is currently on their honeymoon in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
