Go Bridleless

Bridleless Ad1The NSBA will host a bridleless calcutta this June at the Tom Powers Futurity in Berrien Springs, Michigan to benefit the NSBA Crisis Fund. The event is open to all professional horse trainers and has an entry fee of $100. All AQHA and NSBA rules will apply to the event.

“We were looking for a unique way to raise money for the Crisis Fund and to get trainers involved to help a cause that ultimately benefits them,” says Susan Dempze, chairman of the NSBA fundraising committee.

The NSBA Crisis Fund was founded to benefit a member or immediate family member of someone who is a horse trainer by primary occupation and is based on proven financial need arising from sudden and demonstrable hardship or disaster of a severe and unexpected nature or from serious physical illness.
