InStride Edition, a growing, award-winning monthly print and digital publication dedicated to the horse show industry, is accepting applications for freelance writers/photographers with a solid understanding of the show world to produce news and feature articles and for event coverage.

We are looking for solid writers who understand what’s happening on the AQHA/APHA/ApHC, PHBA, NSBA and WCHA circuits and can tell a good story simply and succinctly.

Candidates should have: sharp interviewing skills, an excellent command of the English language – vocabulary, spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax; (knowledge of AP Style a plus); photography ability; and an understanding of the use of social media.

We prefer to have an ongoing and exclusive business relationship with a select group of experienced, knowledgeable and talented writers.
